This simple Diagonal Pallet Bench was built in under three hours and used two pallets. I alternated wood tones and had fun with the side and end boards to make it a little more interesting.
My Diagonal Pallet Bench:
First, I removed the bottom deck boards from one pallet and cut it in half, just past the center stringer to create the legs. Next, I built the bench frame with butt-joints to keep it simple. I attached the legs to the insides of the frame and mounted them a bit short so that the bench boards would sit flush. Then, I cut the remaining deck boards diagonally and secured them with nails. I used the cutoffs to dress up the ends of the legs and on the front facing side. Finally, I sanded everything down.
