I decided to add a center strip to this coffee table I make. I took a vote from Facebook friends, and this design won out. I have been building them without the strip. This is built from Pallet wood only.
The top boards have been straight-edged and planed to ½ inch. The center strip really helps to keep the center line straight. It is finished with 2 coats of linseed oil.
