If you need more seating for guests, but would rather save the money for designer beer, build your own Pallet Stringer Bar Stools instead!
Pallet Stringer Bar Stools:
First, I found three pallets and separated them down. Next, I used the heavy stringer boards with the forklift arches and cut them to length for the legs. Then I used deck boards to create a frame to hold the legs. I added a second frame towards the feet to keep the legs from spreading out while in use. Finally, I topped them with deck boards that I closely spaced. Then, I sanded everything to avoid splinters. I used a classic gray stain on the bottom of the stools. I applied a vintage oak stain on the top seat portion. The stools are sealed with lacquer.
Nice use of pallet stringers! How about a Lounge Set to go with them?
