I made these rustic pallet key holders out of various thickness and widths of boards, mixing and matching to suit my taste. These would be great to make using leftover wood from other projects as well.
Rustic Key Holders Finish:
I left the wood in a fairly natural state; not sanding many of the rough edges down in order to keep that rustic look. Then I painted them in different colors, distressing the finish, and added the decorative stencils. I used a simple coat hook and mounted them with the supplied hardware.
This was a fun, quick and easy project. This would be great for a first-time pallet project.
