I made this Pallet Planter Screen because we were getting ready to sell our house. I wanted to hide the ugly air conditioning unit and a gas outlet. They are right in the front yard, so they are a bit of an eyesore to potential buyers as they walk through the front gate.
Hide less-attractive features of your home with a Pallet Planter Screen!
I made the screen with two pallets, and once they were in position, I faced the join with a slat to give the impression that it was all one piece. To make a screen exactly like mine, you will need three pallets.
All you have to do is glue and screw pieces of wood on the back/underside of the pallet to create little boxes that you can fill with dirt. I also used blocks from the 3rd pallet to put make feet for the screen. I made a couple of wooden arms that I attached to the back of the screen and to the wall behind it, to stop it from falling over in bad weather.
