Whitewashed Mobile Pallet Tv Stand Has Drawers Too!

We use three EPAL pallets to make this Mobile Pallet TV Stand. We clean and dry our pallets first before using them by first pressure-washing them with hot water and vinegar.

After we had cleaned and dried the pallets, we cut them lengthwise flush with the center pallet stringer. The final measurements will be three pallets cut to  120 cm x 47 cm. Next, we sanded them with 100 grit paper, taking extra care at the corners. Then we stacked them and used six long wood screws for each layer to hold them together. I whitewashed the stand by mixing a can of paint to a can of water, but you can choose your favorite color.  Then we let it air dry and gently sanded the edges to create a worn feeling. Finally, we always give the brush a water hand-waxed finish. We installed the wheels and added a glass top. Use a piece of laminated glass at least 4mm thick!

Utilizziamo tre pallets EPAL ; una volta asciugati dopo averli lavati con acqua e aceto ( ideale l’uso della idropulitrice ad acqua bollente) tagliamo per il lato lungo a filo del secondo zoccolo. Avremo tre pallets da 120 cm x 47 cm. Carteggiamo con carta grana 100 facendo cura agli spigoli. Poi. Una volta sovrapposti al rovescio con delle viti da legno lunghe 4 cm ( sei per piano messe in modo equidistante) fissiamo i tre pallets per farli diventare un corpo solo.

Fatto questo con un barattolo di vernice ad acqua bianco ( nel mio caso) oppure un colore a scelta pitturiamo il ns mobile d’appertutto. lasciato asciugare carteggiamo gli spigoli facendo venire il legno a vista, facciamo questo d’appertutto regolandosi di fare l’operazione in modo omogeneo. Per finire diamo sempre con il pennello una mano di finitura cerata ad acqua. Avremo il nostro porta tv.
Possiamo non mettere piedini,mettere delle ruote, mettere un piano in vetro almeno uno stratificato 4+4 mm.
