Swing I Made for Mother’s Day

To build this pallet swing, I cut pallet lengthwise for the seating. The pallet was a heavy duty one ( 2×8 slats plus two 2×4’s doubled to case 2×8’s). Also, the pallet was extremely long. I framed this with 2×4’s for a set portion of the swing. Next, I took a second pallet that was also long but lighter weight and cased in it with some of the other 2×4 were from the first pallet and framed it. I cut the remaining 2×8’s for arms, drilled out holes in them for chain then added some bolts to the side for the chain. Sanded it and painted it. Mom lived it, said she could set and watch her birds.
