Add a bit of Country to your home with this homespun Western Twist Pallet Wine Rack. This project only used a portion of one pallet so that you could make two or more, depending on the size of your pallets.

Western Twist Pallet Wine Rack:

First, cut a pallet approximately in half, across the width, leaving the end boards and deck boards intact.  Next, enclose the end of the pallet to create a shelf for bottles to sit on. Then, we ripped one pallet board down to approximately 2″ wide and added it in on the front to make the shelf sturdy in case it’s bumped. Then, we trimmed the rack out with some sisal rope, secured with hot glue (or craft glue, but hot glue sets up faster). We added a little wooden horse onto the front and built the letter A for the center trim. Finally, we applied a dark stain. When it dried, we quickly coated it with a white pickling stain, wiping most of it off as we went.
