I used 9 EURO pallets (80x120cm) to create this pallet corner sofa for my garden. I asked around local businesses and was given all the wood pallets for free. When we got them home, I sanded them all with an electric detail sander. Then I stained them with country oak decking stain to match my decking.

I built this pallet sofa on my decking to fit around my pergola. I placed 2 of the pallets down flat next to each other, with another at the end at a right angle. I then placed another pallet on top of each one. Some pallets were in better condition than others, so I used the worst ones on the bottom layer.

To make the backrest, I propped pallets upon their longest edge behind the seat. I didn’t fix the pallets together; they stay in place due to their weight and because they are wedged in between the pergola and fence.

I may fix them together in the future using angle brackets and flat plate brackets. I used old duvets to create seat pads, cushions for backrests, and lots of blankets and throws to add texture.
