I used 2 wood pallets to build this dartboard cabinet. Mostly out of the Red Oak pallet and then the basic framework was made from another pallet.
The cabinet is 39.5″ tall and 24″ wide. Because of the natural beauty of the Red Oak pallet, I did not stain or treat it. The frame is made from the other pallet that I stained to help match the color.
The only hardware I purchased was 4 cabinet hinges and 2 magnetic catches. No special joinery techniques are necessary. I used screws and glue to build the basic frame.
The doors were just glued and nailed together. A jigsaw was used to cut the top curve in the doors. Some basic sanding with an electric sander after that.
I mounted it to the wall using 4 “L” brackets from the inside of the cabinet so they wouldn’t be seen from the outside.
