Exploring passive solar design and thermal temperature control, this small shed/greenhouse was built using mostly recycled and re-purposed materials obtained for free. The goal was to create a prototype to see what works and what doesn’t firsthand. The journey was rough, and many valuable lessons were learned.
The size of this prototype shed: 60 sq. ft.
Materials used: wood pallets, scrap wood, recycled bottles and cans, reclaimed granite, concrete blocks, straw, rammed earth, plastic, tires, etc…
Finishes used: water sealing oil and paint.
Well done. It’s beautiful!!!
Love this! Well done
