First, I disassembled three pallets. I removed all the nails and sanded the boards. Next, I assembled the frame for the front and back of the doghouse and secured it together with 80mm screws. I used long deck boards and screwed them to the front and back frame pieces. Then I began cladding the sides now that I had the frame created. I cut four lengths to create the pitched roof. Then I attached the roof cladding. To create a base for the house, I adjusted a pallet to fit it plus a bit more for a front deck. Finishing touches included a piece of outdoor carpeting stapled to the interior, artificial turf on the “deck”, and a charming picket fence.
