We made this Southern Good Ole’ Boy’s Pallet Bar using a 12′ x 4′ pallet. Half was used for a separate fence project. We built the L-shaped bar on the deck and liked it so much we kept it there.
Whether or not you’re a Southerner, this Good Ole’ Boy’s Pallet Bar has great ideas that you could use on your own pallet bar project!
I made the frame partially from upcycled fencing, but the remainder is pallet wood. We had some fun with the decorative edges – we found some nice-looking branches, smoothed them out and removed the bark, then split them in half lengthwise. Then we used those as the bar edging. We added stencils, pyrography, and even did some easy metalwork with the corrugated tin backdrop.
