Use scrap pallet wood (or scrap “regular” wood) to beautify a building exterior. We made this Pallet Wood Shed Front and had fun with a “crazy-quilt” pattern! I was given a large amount of mismatched scrap wood pieces. The scraps were leftovers from a fencing project they had done. All I needed was a jigsaw and a drill, along with some screws, nails and stain to complete this project.
Don’t throw away those pallet scraps – use them to decorate an exterior facade like this Pallet Wood Shed Front!
I had built a shed from plywood, pending demolition of old asbestos shed, but it looked so dull. These leftovers were the perfect medium for a mosaic style makeover. There is no pattern or design. I had fun and simply made each piece fit into the gap that appeared in front of me. This would be a cool project to involve the family with, too. I sanded and stained the wood to finish it off.
Don’t forget your furry friends – use pallet scraps to make a Pallet Pet Bed! If you don’t have the pallets, you can find some great ideas for other Upcycled Pet Beds.
