I made this Pine Pallet Nightstand for my daughter’s room. It’s 24″ tall, and the top is 17.25″ wide by 16.25″ deep. It has a door on the front and one shelf inside. I made this entirely from pallets; I think it’s almost all pine.
Pine Pallet Nightstand – kid’s bedrooms or even a terrific living room end table!
First, I broke down three pallets. I cut down several boards that were damaged so that I could still use them. Next, I cut all the boards to length with a circular saw. I assembled it all with wood glue and brad nails (to act as clamps). Finally, I did a light sanding with my random orbital sander. I finished it off with four coats of varnish, sanding lightly in between coats to smooth out bubbles and imperfections.
Excellent work! This will definitely get others to start crafting! Now, how about some DIY artwork?
My attempt.
