I started this Pallet Console Table project with a vision of a tall, elegant table with tapered legs and a bit of storage. I added two drawers and decided to both stain and paint it to create a two-toned effect.

Pallet Console Table: Upcycled doesn’t always mean rustic – you can have elegant couch tables, sideboards, and more with just a bit of creativity!

First, I broke down two pallets and removed all the nails from the pallet deck boards. Then I glued up the legs by using two deck boards per leg to ensure strength and stability. Next, I cut them to shape by tapering them from the inside towards the outside. I glued the legs to the base to make it free-standing. I made the table top by gluing three deck boards together side-by-side. Additionally, I made the simple drawers to fit the pockets I created when I glued the top together. Finally, I stained the top and drawers with an oak stain, and the legs and sides have been painted with slate gray paint.

You made pallets look classy! Now, how about a pretty set of bookshelves to compliment this table?
