Only Two Pallets Made This Totally Tubular Surf Themed Backyard Bar

I used two pallets to make this Surf Themed Backyard Bar. I wanted to make a bar that was fun and a bit different, and it only cost 40 bucks! Share your love of the sport – or adapt it to your favorite – when having friends over!

Surf Themed Backyard Bar – great for the back yard, outdoor areas, or even as excellent party decor!

First, I broke down one pallet and used another for the base. I used loose deck boards to fill in the gaps and to make it sturdier. Then I used an old roadside surfboard that I found for the bar top. I sanded the board and sprayed painted it. Next, I applied surf shop decals and then a clear coat to protect them. I added driftwood for the footrests and secured the footrest with metal straps and hide the metal with natural rope. Now surfs up!!! Enjoy a Mai Tai and chill with your family while enjoying your backyard, patio, or even your man cave!

Very clever idea, and a unique way to highlight your love of surfing and the ocean! Now you need some Pallet Bar Stools! :)
