I made this Back Porch Pallet Gardeners Hutch from 100% pallet wood. I needed a place to do my potting and plant trimming, as well as outdoor storage and this fit the bill!
Back Porch Pallet Gardeners Hutch – create a cheerful work area for your outdoor gardening projects!
First, I used pallet rails for the frame of the base and top shelf rack. Next, I covered all the sides and back using more deck boards. I trimmed the sides of the work table with more deck boards to prevent tools from rolling off when I’m busy. Finally, I did a little decorative trimming on the top shelf with some angled end pieces. I haven’t sealed or painted it yet; I have to decide what I want to do.
Inspirational for your spring planting. How about a self-watering raised bed planter to go with it?
how do I get this for Christmas??
Very nice
It’s genius. How do I build one?
Glad you like it…I have no plans…I build stuff from scratch out of my head. I built the frame using pallet fork rails and solid rails and boxed it all in with pallet slats. The top shelf is nothing more than pallet slats. Sorry, the pictures are the best I can provide for how to!
