I made this LED-Lit Pallet Wall Clock because it looked like a fun project. I loved the idea of a cutout piece of art that was backlit by LEDs.
LED-Lit Pallet Wall Clock:
First, I separated a pallet down. Next, I used a planer/jointer to even the edges, so they sit flush to one another. After joining the woods and waiting for the glue to dry, I used a jigsaw to cut the shape of Atlas. To create the unique finish I wanted, I used white vinegar, rusty nails, and steel wool solution to give the wood an aged look. Then I used white acrylic color to paint the world. I sprayed on a matte stain/sealer to finish and protect the wood. Finally, I installed the clock, and then the 2-meter long, battery-powered RGB LED strip with remote control onto the back side. The size of my project is 100 x 60 cm. total.
If time isn’t on your side for this project, look at this little Pallet Wall Clock!
