I used remnants and scrap pieces of pallet wood to create my Abstract/Modern Scandinavian Pallet Christmas Tree. This easy project doesn’t even need one complete pallet to make, but you do have to find a wooden dowel rod (or buy one).
Modern Scandinavian Pallet Christmas Tree:
I cut down my off-cuts into ever decreasing lengths, including spacers. Next, I drilled a 22-mm hole in the center of each piece. Using one of the blocks from between the pallets, I mounted a broom handle and then threaded all of the branches with a spacer (also pallet wood) between each to assemble. I spent most of my time with the sanding portion and finished each small piece the way I wanted. Overall, I completed this project in about 2 hours. I love the Scandinavian feel it has.
