This Pallet Television Frame is elevated by the beautiful pyrography applied to the surface. We only used one pallet to build this. Instead of woodburning, the patterns could be painted or stenciled on as an option.
Pallet Television Frame:
First, start with a pallet. Depending on the pallet size, you may not have to do any disassembling. Next, cut out the opening needed for the item you wish to frame. We kept the outer deck boards and end boards in this case; all others were removed. Next, sand the boards down as smooth as you like. It is easier to do pyrography on a smoother surface, or else you tend to fight the grain, splinters, etc. To finish, we did some simple pyrography artwork; a climbing vine and leaf pattern; a sunburst, and our logo, of course. However, you can make the pattern be whatever you want; to reflect your personal taste and style.
have you got instructions/video on the cupboard/unit below the TV-frame in the picture provided? I’d like to construct that as my tv/entertainment unit.
