This Simple Pallet Wine / Stemware Rack was very easy to do. And, in only just two hours, I had this ready to hang on my wall. I think it would make a lovely housewarming gift, too.
Simple Pallet Wine / Stemware Rack:
First, I glued three pallet boards together, clamped them and let them dry. Next, I cut one board the width of the backboard and used a jigsaw to carve out the stemware rack. Then, I framed out the little shelf and attached it all together with glue and nails. Finally, I cut the last board at an angle on both ends using a circular saw and used a drill and jig saw to cut two circles out to hold wine bottles by the neck. I glued the board and used nails on the back to help secure it. I installed a wall-hanger bracket on the back.
To finish, I sanded everything, applied a stain and then a semi-gloss varnish. A few decorative applications and it was done!
hi what were the measurements please?
Very cool. I made one out of beautiful cedar.
