The pallets used for this project were reclaimed from the back yard of Mary’s Bar in south slope Brooklyn. The ply and 2X4s used for the roof and floor structure were also reclaimed. The only lumber purchased for this project was some 2×3 used to support the roof. Between the purchased 2×3, exterior grade screws, and a plastic planter liner, this project cost me about $40. The footprint of the whole playhouse is about 4′ X 6′ and about 7′ tall. The two unique features are the integrated planter and the open corner with a counter.
