I made this Pallet Key Holder from only one single deck board! But, you could make this quick and practical project even from leftover ends of pallet boards.

Here’s how I made my Pallet Key Holder:

First, I cut one deck board to the size I wanted. I glued the two pieces together using Gorilla Glue.

I installed two mending plates onto the back to hold it together after it dried. Next, I sanded it using P40 and then P100 sandpaper but left some of the rustic texture. I stained it with Jacobean color Danish oil. I recycled the hooks from an old key hanger and stuck them on with adhesive. Finally, I installed a large picture hoop onto the back to hang on the wall.

This was a fast, easy, and cost-effective project!

Editor’s note: Gorilla Glue is a polyurethane glue. We are not receiving any compensation, nor are we explicitly endorsing any products mentioned. This is for informational purposes only.
