How I built these Rustic Pallet Birdhouses:
I made all of these birdhouses from recycled hardwood pallets with no formal plans. I designed these right from my imagination, and had fun with it! I also used as many nails as possible that came from the pallets to make these for free.
Additionally, I did a bit of a salvage run to the local dump for other upcycled items including tin, screws & perch objects. I apologize that this submission isn’t a formal “how-to” post, as I built these on the fly. However, if you have interest, please comment and I may do a step-by-step tutorial with pictures. Enjoy!

You are very fortunate to be able to take items from your local dump. We have security guards who watch and we are not allowed to take items out of our local dump. What a waste of pallets and items that could be refurbished!
