This Mosaic Top Pallet Table was built as an outdoor table, but it is beautiful enough to take center stage in any formal dining room!
How I built this Mosaic Top Pallet Table:
I used old pallets to create mosaic top; it was tricky and took many tricky cuts. I started with a sheet of plywood. I etched out a design on it and then began filling it in. I made the legs from re-purposed fence posts. I personalized our table by adding our family surname and the names of my kids for a personal touch. I finished it with Danish oil. I spent 15 hours building this over three weekends.
Helpful Tips for your own Mosaic Top Pallet Table:
- Make sure you measure out all cuts carefully. I spent hours cutting bits to fit, but it adds to the rustic charm.
- I used a high-quality outdoor wood glue. I used cheaper versions, but they popped and lifted if they weren’t clamped securely.
