I take used pallets, in good condition, and I love seeing the potential in it and I get inspired by our sea life and what I make is a unique one of a kind piece of art embracing the woods characteristics and using my paint/stain technique and cutting the center out using the negative space. Then finishing with an LED lighting behind it. Battery powered / remote controlled.
The process is tedious and as I mentioned I choose from 100’s of pallets to find the right ones for each project. Tearing apart the pallet is the fun part (not really) but I choose to use a circular saw to get them apart along with your trusty hammer and crow bar. After deciding on what to cut out, I sketch the design out on the boards and then start to cutting.
Resulting is a one of a kind piece that everyone seems to love and I’m lucky e Pugh to have made many of these for many families and business. I would love to take any questions directly so please check out my website StellerArtWorks.com to see all my creations.
