It took me about 9 hours over a couple of days to make this. Two Euro pallets plus some 3×2 for the legs left over from a previous project. I made the bench the same width as the pallets, so had almost no sewing to do, just the sides and the cutouts at the four corners, plus the arms. The wine glass cutouts were an afterthought. I used a Forstner bit to bore the holes.
Tools: Panel saw, hand held belt sander, battery drill/screwdriver
In addition to the pallet wood, I used 8 M6 coach bolts, 12 60mm screws and about 50 35mm screws, I used about a quarter of a liter of Danish oil to finish. Total cost less than £5/$7.
