A pallet is made to be strong and resists a lot of loads. Dismantling one can become quite a project. Well, I am going into building a little garden shed this spring, and thought I would do cladding with pallet wood. After 50 pallets I dismantled, I have found a rather fast and straightforward way to get nice planks, free of nails… Felt like doing a little video to share
If you don’t have to remove the nails because this process is quite time-consuming and they can stay in the wood, I have a fast and furious pallet dismantling method that may be right for you!
Great idea! Thanks for sharing! Here are 8 other ways to dismantle pallets – you should be able to find a method that works for you!
I don’t see a video to play…. am I missing something???? Thanks.
Thank you for sharing this tutorial. The verbal and video presentation is very nicely done. I look forward to starting pallet projects for my garden. This helps me a lot. A working table would be my first.
