Can Dispenser

After years of cleaning up cans from failed cardboard boxes, buying can dispensers that just didn’t quite fit the number of cans I wanted to store and plastic holders that just didn’t hold up, I decided to make one that fits the bill. I used two long pallet stock boards, and numerous cut pallet slats to make the backside of the project. On the front I re-purposed some fencing material, a few license plates from yesteryear (early 20’s 30’s) and two door hinges I recycled, shine up and bent to correct angle to make a stop as individual cans came down. On the bottom, I took a smaller section of a pallet and screwed it onto the top to lift it up off the floor. Glue and nails were used on the backside to secure materials together, and a little mahogany oak stain left over from another project. After completion, I screwed to studs in a wall. Wallah………..
