Assemble your wood pallet base, drill holes for the wire, two holes about an inch apart, put the wire around the mason jar where the lid screws on, put the ring on, this will hold the wire on (make sure the wire stays under the ring. Put the wire through the drilled holes, twist the wire tight enough that it feels snug. Put the towel ring/hook of your choice and there you have it!!
Yes, Brandon, I did. Sorry to take so long in responding. Mine isn’t as pretty as this one, but I think I posted it on my profile. I will post one here too, just in case….
Granny K, did you ever get to post any pics?
How great! Thanks for sharing! I’m going to make one for my bathroom.

Hey I finished my bathroom rack last week. Not as pretty as yours, but I will be experimenting more with the concept. Got plenty of need for counter space. I made a pallet utensil holder last year, and that is working out also, all made of pallets. I will post them for you. I made a lot of stuff out of privacy fence planks. Only problem with them, as with pallets, you have to sand them so much. I have blown through one Craftsman belt sander, and am working on another one, using 36 grit sanding belts. So have you… Read more »
I started it today. Got a job, so that slowed me down, but worked on it for about 5 hours this evening. I am about half way done. Gotta figure out how I will affix it to the wall. I will send you a picture when I finish for sure!
I love this! It is simple and I love the jars anyway and am always trying to use them for something, so think I a going to make it today. Too much stuff on the tiny bathroom counter top. Got some blue and some turquoise wood stain, so am going to try it turquoise I think. Thanks for posting this!!
Thanks so much!!! Oh I would love to see yours once you finish!!!
how did you attach the jars? really awesome design!
Thanks so much!! Drill 2 holes behind the jar, about an inch apart. Use heavy picture hanging wire around the thread the lid goes on, put the wire through the 2 holes and twist it tight enough to hold it steady, careful not to break the jar. Oh, and make sure the 2 holes are exactly even side by side, otherwise you will never get the jar to hang straight.
Good luck and send me a pic if you make one!!!
