Patio & Fire Pit Furniture Out of 14 Repurposed Pallets

I decided to make this furniture as my wife saw something on Pinterest and it looked like something I could accomplish. I didn’t have any experience working with pallets and was intrigued that I could make something so useful with only the cost of paint and screws.

In total, I used approx 14 pallets. To build all the furniture it took around 12 hours however it took many hours to paint them. Had to pull the wife in to help on that one. It was the most tedious part of the project.

I cut the pallets into the appropriate pieces and assembled it together with screws. I had the picture of the furniture, so I tried to follow that. Once they were assembled, I sanded down the wood and then we got to work painting. I used a paint with primer already mixed in, so I did not have to prime first. My wife chose the paint colors and cushions. She is the decorator in the family.

This furniture is very comfortable and well built and will last a long time. I keep getting requests from friends to build them one. I think this is more of a project for our home rather than a money-maker due to the time involved.
