About Me
After working for years in marketing/sales I stumbled onto a Pinterest web page that highlighted pallet furniture. I always like building things out of wood and this idea festered for some time before I picked up several pallets from the office and started sketching. I started to build tables, taking the skid apart was perhaps the hardest obstacle I was about to face. Needless to say, I wound up with a lot of broken boards and splinters.
After a few tries the furnature started to take shape, The materials that were not used we burned, the only unusable part right now are the nails, which are stored in a 5 gallon bucket until we find a recycling place.
Start a business that will benefit it's employees. Perhaps they had a rough start, ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time or are just plain down on their luck. Here is a place to start to rebuild better tomorrows.
It's also a green initiative, keeping millions of pallets out of landfills and making something useful and unique with the materials.
