Add handy storage for your coats, hats and more with this Railroad Crossing Sign Pallet Coat Rack. I made this using an old 4×4″ post, a few well-placed pallet pieces and railroad spikes for the coat rack.
Dare to be different and add individuality to your home decor and storage needs!
First, I cut a 4×4″ post to the length I wanted. Next, I used the arched sections of pallet stringers and trimmed them into the feet. I installed them onto the post using four screws per foot. Then I had some fun stenciling the signs on the post. Finally, I drilled holes for the spikes and installed them in place. I put it in my hallway and it’s a handy, functional piece of pallet artwork!
