This adorable Mini Snowtopped Pallet Church is an excellent reason to save those cut off bits of pallet boards! Then a quick trip to the dollar store / pound shop, for little interior lights, and you’ve got a unique centerpiece or bit of holiday decor!
Mini Snowtopped Pallet Church:
First, I cut a piece to the base width I wanted. Next, I cut the four walls from single boards and cut the window openings in. Then, I attached them together with small nails. Finally, I installed the house structure to the base from beneath using screws. I cut small pieces for the roof to create a shingled effect and attached them with nails. Then, I used a thin piece of board I had and cut it into four equal lengths. I cut the bell tower opening in all four pieces. Then, I sandwiched the pieces together with glue and cut the “V” shape in the bottom. I cut four pieces into elongated triangles to create the peak in the church and glued it together before installing it onto the top of the tower.
Mini Snowtopped Pallet Church – Finishing Touches:
I added little pieces as window ledges and more to create a fence around the base. I added small laser-cut doors and windows that can be picked up at any hobby store and some dollar stores to the openings with glue. Finally, I wrapped the peak in a small amount of felt, added two miniature trees and then covered everything with a light dusting of that spray snow in a can. This really looks cute near a window when the room is darkened and its lit up. It was a fun project, and will really add to our holiday decor!
