I used less than two pallets to make this Stunning Elegant Pallet 3-Shelf Wine Rack. It’s possible to make this with only one pallet if the wood is all of good quality. I didn’t use pallets to cover the back of this cabinet. Instead, I used chipboard, but that was to save pallet wood.
Here’s information about my Pallet 3-Shelf Wine Rack:
First, I made the dimensions as follows: 75cm (approx 29.5″) tall, 60cm (approx 23.5″) wide, and 35cm (approx 13.75″) deep. I assembled it all with nails and glue. The frame is straightforward. The shelves of the rack were carved out with hole saws, sized to fit the neck and body of the bottles. Then I sanded everything very smooth and removed the dust with a tack cloth. I stained it in a light cherry color to match my home’s decor.
