I made this Pallet Wood Playhouse from about fifteen pallets, pine wall studs, recycled crate plywood, and some found Plexiglas and more scrounged bits of needed hardware. It only cost around 80.00 to finish!
Here’s how I started this Pallet Wood Playhouse:
First things first, you’ll need about 15 pallets. I kept only the best timber and rejected quite a lot of it. The playhouse is framed from 12 x 2.4m pine wall studs. I used recycled crate plywood for the roof and interior walls. Luckily, I found some Plexiglas for the windows. After framing it out, I covered it with black barrier paper. Then I sided it with the best-of-the-best pallet boards. This project used many, many nails and screws, roofing felt, paint, and various hardware and decorative pieces (hinges, handles, carpet off cuts and the like). I painted it with a dove-gray color, made a white front step, and surrounded it with solar lights.
This truly was a project of love! I was surprised how much you can recycle and put into a Pallet Wood Playhouse of this scale while saving money.
