Difficult isn’t always the best. This Easy Solarium Pallet Lounge Set proves that point. With a few pallets, a weekend and under a hundred dollars, you can have a lovely, inviting lounge set for your patio or garden area too.

Easy Solarium Pallet Lounge Set:

First, I cut three pallets in half width-wise, just past the center stringer set. I used one pallet set vertically for the seat back and had to trim another for the narrower width of the smaller seat. Next, I cut three more pallets in half lengthwise and trimmed the excess off along the width as well. I used these little pieces to form the small seat. This created a modular seating system if I needed the flexibility.

Easy Solarium Pallet Lounge Set – Table & Finishing:

I made the table from the trimmings of the other pallets. I stacked two sets of pallet remnants on top of one another and attached them together. Then, I used loose stringer boards and spanned the pallet blocks. Next, I mounted the casters to the spanner boards to make the table mobile. I finished it with a piece of glass. Everything was sanded fairly smooth. Then, I stained all of the pallets to a warm brown tone and sealed them with a satin polyurethane. Finally, I added some cheerful cushions and pillows, a few magazines and plants, and had an inviting seating area in our solarium.
