This Dutch Door Pallet Playhouse is a kid’s fantasy realized. It’s got a fun little cabin, a mini-deck, and a fun swing set to let their imagination and creativity loose!
The playhouse dimensions are 120cm x 120cm (approximately 47.25″). Then we decided to make the patio/terrace the same dimensions as well. We set the height of the ridge beam to 190cm (approximately 74.75″). We bought this ridge beam because of the length, and let it extend beyond the cabin to create the swing support. Two more beams were purchased to form the X-shaped supports. Additionally, we had to buy the floor supports. We covered the roof by recycling an old shed and using the pieces as roofing materials.
This project lets us release our creativity a bit, too. We made a set of Dutch doors and carved a little heart in the upper door. Additionally, we made windows on all four sides that can be opened and closed. Finally, we added a railing for safety and built a small set of steps for easy access.
La partie “habitation fait 120cm sur 120cm”,idem pour la terrasse,ici la hauteur de la poutre faîtière est à 190cm,cette poutre est rallongée pour y ajouter la balançoire! seuls cette poutre avec celles en “V” et les supports de fixation au sol ont dû être acheter,le toit a été fait avec des chutes de toiture de hangar récupérés.
