This Garden Table/Table De Jardin was made from a large pallet. It is a simple design and was fairly easy to make. We varnished it to protect it from the elements and easy clean-up. This build only took us about five hours and cost 10 dollars.
Here’s our Garden Table/Table De Jardin:
To start, we dismantled a large pallet. The sub-frame is constructed from deck stringers. We cut four pieces and mounted them in an X-shape, with a piece of stringer board joining and stabilizing each side. We used two more pieces of deck board to create the table frame and mounted them to the X-shaped legs. The top is made from deck boards. We picked boards with the most character and the least amount of warpage. They were mounted with screws. We carefully sanded everything but left some of the pallet characters that we all love. It was finished off with varnish.
