I built this Pallet Breakfast Table, so I could eat in my room while watching movies or TV. It’s sturdier and more stylish than a commercially-available “TV-tray”.
How I built this Pallet Breakfast Table:
I wanted it to be light and portable, so I didn’t use the thickest pallet boards. I built the top by using two small pieces of wood for the deck boards to mount to. I screwed them all in place. I used a jigsaw to carve the board that supports the top and mounts it to the vertical legs. I used a thicker board to span between the legs and to also support the top and put a second for more stability. The feet are just more boards that I ripped down and then created the curves, so it’s comfortable against my feet.
I sanded it down and applied a red stain.
This little Pallet Breakfast Table is handy and looks charming and rustic! It only took me a couple of hours and cost about 9 dollars. It also only used part of one pallet!
does the table not sway/wobble left to right with no bracing?
Nice job.
