Only have limited space? Build This Little Pallet Bar. It only took three pallets to make, and about 24 hours. I only spent around 100 dollars on some structural lumber to support the awning, and some decorative touches.
Little Spaces? Build yourself Little Pallet Bar:
First, I built a simple bar frame from pallet deck boards and used more for the bar top. I used a piece of plywood for the bar back and installed a couple of small shelves. Instead of building a lot of shelving, I moved a cabinet I already had out there to keep things clean and orderly. Next, I used 2×4’s for the awning supports and awning frame. To finish the bar, I used more deck boards as needed to support the reed fencing, or as bracing.
The bar was trimmed out with some decorative reed fencing. More reed fencing was used on the awning to provide shade without making it dark. I used a natural oil to coat the wood and protect it. The decorative touches were fun to install. We even added a stemware rack. I think my Little Pallet Bar came out pretty well for the very low cost of it.
