Every man-cave must have something unique. How about this excellent skull-themed Pallet Garage Chair? It is creative both in design and use of materials!
My Pallet Garage Chair:
I made this chair out of a couple of pallets and a dump truck mudflap. I used the pallet stringers for the legs and sturdy frame of the chair. I built the back of the chair and then cut the pieces out to form the skull shape using a jigsaw. I attached the back of the chair and secured the armrests, and finally used a dump truck mudflap as the seat of the chair. I clamped it between the frame of the chair and a piece of trim, pre-drilling to prevent splitting the trim pieces. I secured it with fasteners. I sanded everything down relatively smooth, but still left a bit of the rugged pallet texture. I built this in about 7 hours. I still haven’t decided on if I’m going to stain it or not.
