I used two flat pallets; they had great color and texture already. Cleaned and sanded them and painted with white PVA. Aged and distressed in some areas and then to give more texture and tone which I love doing, I inserted netting and lace in some of the open pieces. I then also added pieces of tile for texture and color tone. Finished them off with wording, distressed frame and wooden decorative pieces which I had collected. Colour of the decorative pallets matched so well with the neutral room.
