I did this workshop because the cost of pre-made ones was ridiculously high, I needed somewhere I could escape from the Mrs and have some time to myself to work on projects undisturbed! I used about 200 pallets for the frame and the central part of the construction, the main cost approx £50 was for the screws and wood glue, it only cost £10 for the window, and the sliding patio door was freecycled, it also cost £20 for wood stain, the overall size of the workshop is 24ft x 8ft x 9ft so for around £80 that’s not at all bad, it would of cost well in excess of £5000 had I bought one! It’s so solid it’s withstood the really strong winds we’ve had over the past few months. I suppose it took about 2 months to build (not every day or all day as I was working).

That is truly amazing. Great job on the build. You are a true Craftsman Sir. 2 THUMBS UP on the build 🙄👍👍
even if you had to buy the long boards, it’s still a bargain… :)
that’s great workshop , enjoy your time away from Mrs hehehehe
Where in the world are you getting the L O N G pallets that your L O N G wood came from?
Those pallets are not easy to find. They are used for big materials transportation and you could find some of them near construction sites.
Furniture stores get their sofas and other long items on those pallets. Fence material companies also receive their materials on these sort of pallets. Usually 36″w x 96″ l.
