For a 20x50m (roughly) garden pallet fence, I used 25 wood pallets. I found someone who had a gate they didn’t want. Hardware and gate for $40. 40 pallets delivered to me. I gave him $100. Delivery was well worth it. $20 for a box of 200 screws. I used metal plates 40 with a lot to spare for $40. I screwed together side by side 2 pallets and turned every 3rd for stability. It also made little cubbies in the garden for raised beds. will use cinder blocks in spring to complete this. It took 2 Saturdays.
Thanks for sharing this! What a great, budget-friendly tip. I’m getting a new vinyl fence installed in my backyard this summer. But I have a garden that currently is “fenced” in by some broken chicken wire, so now I’m considering replacing that garden fence with some pallets now!
I can see that they make for a nice fence.
