On my left I made a small area to hold my phone or cigarettes or the like. On my right I screwed in a plastic cup to place wide enough to put my beer or pop in a cookie inside of it. It’s high enough that I won’t spill it either. The front bottom of the chair has a board across it, that I added later, to prop my get up on because I’m short. The armrests are placed perfectly that my fingers dangle gently over the edge. The back of the chair has an area for my cooler our jacket so it’s always within reach and out of the way!
