I used roughly five pallets for this project, and 2×4’s to build the bench frame and pine boards for the bench lid and outside of the bench. I took apart pallets using a reciprocating saw to cut off the nails and leave nail heads in the wood for a rustic look. Then I cleaned the wood using a pressure washer as well as mineral spirits solution. I cut according to fit the wall and used a nail gun to attach. I then built the bench frame and fit it into the available space. Attached with screws to the wall and continued fitting pallet wood around it. I stained the wood with a light stain and allowed it to dry. I then purchased some foam and fabric and created the foam bench pad.
