I reclaimed this oak from heavy coil pallets. Building a bar sounded like fun so I gave it a shot. The frame is made from 4"X41/2" solid oak beams. The front is also solid oak, 11/4" thick. The top I went for a butcher block look, the pieces are 4"X41/2X4". It's made of heart oak and Yellow pine. It was a fun project, especially when your kids Wana help. Time wise this took roughly 40 hours with the kids. We opted for casters on this, it weighs in about 325. If you have a saw and a screw gun this is a fairly easy build.
