I had a few leftover boards. For each Chevron I used four boards cut to 12 inches with 45 Deg ends. I lined them up and glued and screwed 2-inch pieces of the wood stir sticks you get from paint shops to the backs to hold them together. Attached a hanger and a little stain and done.
